Just picked up a TC Encore with .243 barrel today. I plan on it being my 6 year olds first real deer gun. I can't wait to see his face after the Leupold is mounted on it and I hand it to him. He has put in lots of time and hard work this year helping with food plots and building tree stands as well as shooting his .410 and .22 rimfire getting ready for the chance at his first deer. I can't wait[excited][excited][excited][excited][excited][excited]

cool hope he takes one down . my son shot his first deer with a 20 ga , I then bought him a . 243 H&R single shot for his first rifle . funny he killed his first deer with a rifle shooting my 6mm instead of using his . he is now in USMC protecting our rights and freedom . for that I am proud of him [smile]

We spent a few rounds out of our new toy today. The boy is ready and his dad can't wait for him to smoke one with it[excited][excited][excited][excited]
