Started out early this morning 6:30 looking for the morning bite. Stoped at HI marking LOT'S of bait and fish deep. Droped the 18 Rod spread and trolled east ledge towards HS. All fish real deep. Se winds untill about 10:00 kept a 1 ft chop nice But like they say wind blow east fish catch least. Wind the breeze stoped we went around HS and headed towrads the western side straight for the targets. In about 45 ft Bam far planner rod screaming:bigfish: When we grabbed the rod we knew we had bubba! Got her in the boat 47 inches 35 lbs:clapping2: Worked that pod for about an 1.5 hrs. Picked up 3 more fish from 39" to mid 20". Lost another drag screamer off the deep umbrella. Was a great day and I got the skunk off my boat. There was a ton of bait today and all the fish we caught we marked. at times the screen was full of bait. Looked at my pics from last year this time and these are nicer fish for this early. Oh yea almost forgot. Busted my nose this morning getting the boat ready.Look's like I'm going to have black eyes . Was rolling the back curtan up and went to strap it. Being cold the strap had shrunk so I pulled on it to streach it. It broke and I punched myself right in the bridge of my nose. Blood and all. Was still a great day .

Sorry about your nose

A couple years back my daughter decided to see if she could kick her leg high enough to touch her forehead. She was successful and managed to knock herself silly.
