Started out friday at the hotdog pulling wwb.Crowd was not as bad as I figured but still iffy with the longlines.Trolled the dog area for a couple hours and boat a white marlin on a long joe shute.First one on my alby pretty cool.Next bite is a peanut dolphin about an hour later on a squid chain.Slow for me most of morning.Around noon I head away from the crowd and go for a long troll home.Troll to the bone and all over it with no bites.Minutes before pulling lines in I finally get a tuna bite while heading inshore of the bone.Half way through the fight hook pulls...damn.Continue heading inshore and again just as we were about to call it the wwb went down with the type of strike we dream of, screaming! Took all day and in the bottom of the 9th baam daysaver. How many of us have had those days where that extra hour or 2 saved the day.Little over 45" to fork.Would have sworn was bigger had a lot of heart.Another great adventure in the ocean.
