I’m still going to OC every chance I get. It’s a great place.
I’d say it could make the top ten in worse food, unless you go to coins, but not crime.

The websites site violent crimes per 100k, not per capita.
Does that not hold into consideration the influx?

OC gets 8 million visitors a year, which averages out to a population of ~666k (yikes!). And if you really want to get in the weeds we could probably agree most of those crimes occur June-Aug, now average out those 8 million visitors and look at the crime numbers. I don't feel like doing the math, but the place is safe. I go every year, I take my family to the boardwalk, I take them to the beaches, I take them to the restaurants. Now what is not safe is some of the things I see on the boardwalk while eating Thrashers!
