Taking the wife to Ocracoke June 13-16 and would like to charter for Cobia or Amberjack, near shore wreck fishing, not really trying to walk on a big boat but if that's what we gotta do, I just want to get her on some hard core pullage...... I realize it's weather dependent but any insight would be greatly appreciated, we're staying at Captains Landing for our 3rd Anniversary......Thanks in advance for any wreckomendations!!!

Captain Norman Miller is one of the best out of Ocracoke. I assume he is still running charters...Look him up.

Don't know about Ocracoke but you can catch the ferry across to Hatteras and fish with Patrick Caton on the Little Clam. Hes great to fish with and will put you on fish. Might be too late for Cobia but he'd know better. 252-216-8430 He books up quickly just FYI

Need to call on Capt Ernie of the Gecko. I have fished with him for 20 years 1st as a mate and 2nd and a capt. He has a 47 and 26' boat and can put you on fish. Make sure you look at his fishing reports. He has been catching some big drum on the little boat.

Can't help you with Ocracoke but if you want to ferry to Hatteras I would also recommend the Little Clam and Capt. Patrick Caton. I have been on his boat twice and he is a top notch pro.

Fish with the only Local captain- Capt. Ronnie Oneal on the Miss kathleen. Built the boat himself 20 yrs ago. Incredible fisherman and just plain fun to be around. might need your ocracoke/english dictionary though. he's a blast!
