Haven't posted on here in ages. Maybe its time to get back on maybe share some info I have learned over the years.
Anyway went out to a forecast of 30 mph winds in the afternoon but it was gorgeous. Ran down to the 500 line in 100 fathoms and found the hot water. Fished up the line until we were 20 miles behind the point on a weedline that looked amazing. 6 gaffers. It was one of those you thought any second you were going to find the green hord.
Came into the shark pool "point" area and fished there from 11 until 2. Caught one bis ass yellowfin 97lbs on the deep shotgun bait on a bad ***** sea witch. (blue head, crystal skirt, purple squid body and hoo.
Great time. My brother and another best friend. Came in some rough seas going 30 kts.
Solid day. Biggest yellowfin on my boat ever.
