Hey All,
I have a 2003 Yamaha 90 hp two-stroke. What I thought was the occasional overfill looks like the oil reservoir seems to have a leak in it as I have seen a little oil draining from the top part of the engine down the outside of the lower unit. I took the hood off yesterday and there was oil resting in the bottom of the upper part of the engine. I have not seen that before since I have owned the engine. It appears as if the leak is coming from bottom part of teh tank where there is a cap with a hose connected to it which I am assuming delivers the oil to the gas to be mixed. I have not noticed the engine to run hot. Any information would be appreciated as to what to do to alleviate the issue. Thanks,Tom

Tom,You want to inspect the oil delv. line between the oil tank and oil pump as well as the cap on the bottom of the tank that is designed to catch any water that may settle on the bottom of the tank as your fittings on the tank or the oil line may have a crack in them.
