Hey guys, I have an Avet LX reel in need of a rod. This set up will be used for vertical jigging. Not necessarily just butterfly jigging tuna but dropping jigs on smaller things like black seabass. I was in my local tackle shop the other day and put my hands on a few different rods. The okuma rod seemed pretty nice for the price and had a lifetime warranty but I know nothing about Okuma quality. So is it a decent rod or ****?

I have a couple shimano Trevala jigging series rods, I think their pretty good. The good thing about them is that you can choose between different rods tuned for different jig weight ranges. I have used them for all different types of fishing, not just vertical jigging.
