I was wondering if anybody has launched at solomons, breezy point or chesapeake beach in the last couple of days? I was going to try to get a late season sea duck hunt in and maybe go by the power plant for some jigging. Any info would be appreciated, greg

Today the Coast Guard announced the Patuxent was ice free.No ice reported below Thomas Point in the bay.Most creeks have ice on them though.

Breezy Point ramp is said to be closed until feb. 28th for dredging.I'll bet it is iced in at least to the gas pumps.

parrish creek off the west rv. has ice. workboats are still going out, albeit slowly.
