Great day to be on the Bay. Set up in 40 ft water heading straight for Bloody Point from Thomas Pt. 12 Board lines. All whiite Starboard. All Chart port. Mostly Tandems.6 oz to 16oz. Six arm umb in middle both sides. 50 Ft. off the boards. Sun was coming up. Mojo boat lines and big umb off downrigger. 5am high tide. Current was moving well.
plucked one off of Spankin's Frank Sinatra white with blues eyes 6/9 tandem about 8am. About 32 ft deep heading west below Thomas.
37.5 for a pic and return. Suprised at depth of fish. Dragged was messed up so hand lined most of it with angler taking up slack. Kind of like wicked Tuna; pull and reel. Thermocline was about 12 ft deep. scattered bait and not a lot of fish marks to be seen.
Next was a lighter tandem all white 3/6 in almost the same spot about 2pm after traversing back and fourth. Spoke to a few that where doing about the same. Picked up at least 3 bait fish. Cleaned the lines a few times with jellies. 40.5 in the box for dinner. Tried loading my hands with Chicken, beer and cigar which produced a hit on the mini 6 arm chart umb off the board. She came unbuttoned on the way in but was not a beast anyhow so no harm no foul. needless to say, The angler was lambasted for losing the winniing fish!! That's how we roll.
Awesome to get out on the boat, Had good time with friends and might even have made a little money. Been waiting through the long hard winter for this day to come. See you out there Thurs! JC

It's always the winner that gets away, LOL. Good to hear Frank Sinatra is still getting hit on. Plenty more days to come to recatch that big fish, just no money involved, unless it a boat bet.
