wonder if md. atty. general will talk to me?

how much you guys pay per gallon? anybody have two extra 100 gal. tanks they want to sell?

I was looking for a propane supplier near Easton and was told that Suburban near Rt 50 is very high and suggested Centenial. I haven't called them yet and only need enough for a propane fireplace and grill.

So what kind of adjustment did they give you?

I'm probably in the same boat as you. United owned tanks, senior citizen, use propane for heating, cooking and fireplace.

I last paid around 3.75 about month ago.

The fuel charge is especially irksome as I'm only 2 miles from their office.

If you rent the tanks you are at their mercy. Complain too much and you can expect a full credit and a blank spot where their tanks used to sit. Yes boys and girls that is why above ground tanks are rentals.... If you don't pay the bill or they no longer want you as a customer they take their ball (tanks) and go home.

You can easily pay for your own tank in a year by the offset in price, but this is information they really don't want you to know.

Well lookey here.. Mr Deering VERY GOOD OT post... December 16, 2008 100 gallons was $455.00. Billed as Residential Silver.. Montgomery County Tax was 4.12,, Administration Fee was 3.74 and Fuel Surcharge NT ( whatever that means) was 6.16. Add all that up and it's $4.69 a gallon....

So PLEASE, in complete laymen's terms, tell me what to do.. I've been raped, and would like to change this, post haste......

since the wholesale price of propane stayed below $.90 per gallon for the whole month of December..you should insist on some free condoms to go with the screwing that you received.

Wholesale Propane Weekly Heating Oil and Propane Prices (October - March)

my heating oil suppliers don't jack me nearly as badly as your propane supplier. because they know that I won't let them!

#1.shop around!!!
#2 pay cash!!!
#3 NEVER sign up for auto delivery!!!
# get extra storage capacity & buy in quantity..yes there are discounts for quantity- but you have to ask!! If they are not willing to negotiate or discount for quantity, Go elsewhere!!

Please don't limit yourself geographically. Propane tanks aren't all that big. A 500 gal will fit in a pickup or trailer.

Search the interwebs and pick up the phone. There are companies slowly dieing out there for a sale.

I just canceled united propane for the same reason. They have been playing games with my fuel bill for three years now. The last bill was more than seven dollars per gallon. I own the above ground tank, so AC&T said they would take over my account. I live in western Md. so I can't help you with a supplier but united is nothing but a rip off.
