I thought some of you guys might find this a good diversion this winter and spring<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

I did FLW Fantasy Fishing last year and really had fun. I did not know the next thing about tournament bass fishing but you don't have to. I had as good a chance as any to win big money, and did win a Wal-Mart gift card for $50 one week. With several hundred thousand players last year I came in around 1800th place. Not a big winner, but a respectable finish for my first time. One week a mother of 3 toddlers who has never fished in her life won $100,000. By the way, FLW as in FLW Fantasy Fishing and Forrest Wood Cup are the initials or Forrest L. Wood who is the founder of Ranger bass boats.

Anyway, here's the deal. When the tournament series starts in a few more weeks you have to pick a team of 10 anglers out of the 200 who'll be fishing. You also need to pick what place (1-10) each team member will finish in the tournament. Please note that you pick a different team for every stop on the tour (last year it was seven or eight different lakes/rivers plus the Forrest L Wood Cup final).

It is absolutely FREE to play but they do offer a Player's Advantage for a measly $10. Players Advantage gives you stats, histories of anglers, fishing styles, lakes suited to some anglers over others, expert's picks, and a lot more. You can even tell Player's Advantage to quick pick your team based on certain stats for the particular tournament location. You can even find out how far away an angler lives from a tournament lake and how they have done at that locale previously. Its well worth the $10 (it was $25 last year and I was happy that I did it). Again, you don't HAVE to do Players Advantage but it DOES help.

Good luck and I hope a TF'er wins a boat load of money or other cool prizes! Click here to sign up or to find out more http://www.fantasyfishing.com/?ref=27972
