BIGGEST FULL MOON OF THE YEAR: The biggest full Moon of the year is coming this weekend. It's a "perigee Moon" as much as 14% wider and 30% brighter than lesser Moons we'll see later in 2009

Pat,

Your rig is amazing! You're da man!
Thanks...we'll lay on the sofa and watch meteor showers; neighborhood little kids (and mine) like to crowd around for peeks through the telescope. I got a few PM's/e-mails with ? cause there is no roof in the pic; the telescope is in a 13 x 13 shed (observatory) with a retractable roof (on rollers) moved by a small but high-torque motor. Totally automated.

And to keep on topic, I've had some of my best fishing during full moon nights. Gives a whole different "mood" to being on the water as well.
