I had the same thoughts. I have not seen a report from Virgil in ages. We may break out the kayaks and see if they are biting in some of the creeks along the south shore of the Magothy.
I've seen him the last few weeks. Virgil is working again. They offered him so much money he couldn't say no. Prolly not as near as hard than before he retired too.
Yes, but I don't believe for a second that work will stop him from getting after those Pickerel. Virgil's posts officially kick off the season each year. I don't cast for Pickerel until then.
