John Page Williams got a very nice write up in the Jan 2011 edition of SportFishing Magazine.

J.P was nominated for the magazine's Making a Difference
Award by another of our friends, Lenny Rudow.

Congratulations on the well deserved nomination, J.P.

Voting won't be open on the magazine web site until sometime in January, but I'll be sure to put in a vote for you

" Preserving precious aquatic resources " - is that a nice way of saying he can't catch fish ? :devil2:

As they stated...well-deserved. JPW is a class act and great mentor. If he asks you to go fishing with him...go.

Congrats JP.

A lot of people in the club probably have no idea just how published JP is with regards to the bay, fishing and conservation. He has been a contributing writer for Chesapeake Magazine with regular articles for years. I have seen articles from him on Planetgreen.com. I also was pleasantly suprised with a great Christmas gift from my brother-in-law this year. It was a National Geographic sponsored book; "Chesapeake - Exploring the Water Trail of Captain John Smith" that was written by John Page Williams as well! You can find it here http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Chesapeake/John-Page-Williams/e/9781426200694/ if you are interested in taking a look! When we say we have a lot of experience on the bay in our club we really mean it!!
