My boy and I have been making several trips back and forth from Carroll County to the flats each week.
Fishing has been good and we joked that it was better on the days the weather wasn't so cooperative.
This is our first spring fishing for stripers on the flats and we are having a blast!! We found most
our success in the deeper ditches of 10-12 feet on any plastic chartreusse. Good days we caught a dozen
or so above 20" and a slow day was 2-3 fish, haven't been skunked since last week of March. Our
best is one the boy brought in at 29" and we had another similiar get off on us. (I think we were a
bit excited with the harder hit and he over fought him! )

Still learning our way around out there, but getting better at jigging each trip out and we are still looking for our
first big lunker :bigfish: Hoping the top water bite picks up soon!

Here's a few recent fish my boy got last week.
