Suggestions??

I am looking for a fun inshore charter leaving from Oregon Inlet or Hatteras. We are going in the middle of August before my son heads back to VT. About 2 years ago I went out on the Overkill with captain Lee and had a great trip. Unfortunately his web site is down and is no longer listed on the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center web site. I like a hands on experience so I don't want someone who does all the work then you just reel them in.

out of OI talk to Aaron kelly, book your date asap since he books up usually months in advance. Donnie D. (DOA), Reese stecher (beach bum), and Lee Johnson (gouger) are all good captains as well and will work to put you on fish. on the other hand, if you liked fishing on the overkill it is for sale and you could buy it for around $40k.

I wish I had $40K to buy the Overkill. It was a sweet boat! I hope Lee is doing OK. It was a pleasure fishing with him. I appreciate everyones input.
