Hi Brandon,

I was wondering if there is any way to have (or exists) a lighter tf that would work easier on a PDA...loading the pages seems to take a good bit and has a good size requiement on the loading. posting and reading gets a little clumsy. Also, how about meshing that with a web-cell version ?

As always, thanks for your help and support,

Steve

Hi Steve

Thanks for the note. At some point we do want to create a light version that works better on a PDA. I currently have a blackberry and while it works on it, it is a little heavy. I am going to switch to an iPhone I think because it has such a better browser and acts much more like a real browsing experience.

I am not sure when we are going to get to the PDA version just because we have some other things we want to get done to the main site, but it is something I have given some thought to and want us to do.

Thanks

Brandon

Sounds great. The treo does an OK job too...but it does get a little heavy (good description). There are so many areas that have poor coverage that so many of us in the boating/water community go to that thte digital converage and signal strength really makes the bandwidth requirement hard to make sometimes.

take it easy !!

Mine works fine too...but in an optimized mode the banners and the side menu's get to be a little cumbersome. I'd liek to try on the Storm or Iphone. I'd love to switch away from the Palm Treo but so far I haven't seen too much that handles the direct push mail as well w/o the pricy black enterprise server. Does the Iphone have direct push email and tethering ??? I'd love to demo one of those (( OOOOO....AND GET THE HECK AWAY FROM VERIZON !!! ))
