Does anyone know where I can find some planer boards or get directions on making my own. I live in the Richmond area and fish up around Deltaville. I don't like the ones that I got from CANNON.

I have several plans using 2 and 3 board planers but can't find the link to tell you so if you will e or b mail me the first of next week I'll be back at my office where I have all the info and will be glad to send them to you. I am in Richmond and fish out of Yeocomico at Lynch Point. Some other boards you may like are http://stripers247.com/

I made these this year and they worked great even in some rough water. I have a 21 Grady and put out 75 ft on each side and ran two rods on each side. If I had to make any changes I might make them a little bigger to get some more pull out of them. But I'm not sure what to make bigger length or height? Cheap to make, easy to use, BIG FISH. Use rubber bands and shower curtain hooks, I bought planer clips but the rubber bands work just as good and only cost pennies.

Thanks for forwarding the website Kiko. Fish On! Tackle stocks 2 and 3 board planers fully rigged with line and scotty clips. Plenty of people running them from Essex to Richmond with great success. We make them out of AZEK (PVC board) which will not rot and are slightly heavier than wood so no worry in rough water. See them at: fishontackle.com
