On January 13th at 7pm, Rob Olson (President of Delta Waterfowl) is coming to Havre de Grace, MD for a "Town Hall" meeting. Rob is one of the foremost authorities in North America in regard to waterfowl.


Rob will give a detailed presentation on Waterfowl and Waterfowling in North America and what Delta Waterfowl is doing.

This is an incredible opportunity since Rob has never been to our region before. Everyone is invited.

The meeting is being held at the Havre de Grace Decoy Museum located at 215 Giles St., Havre de Grace, MD 21078.

I think it was great. Reading some other posts on other sites, seemed as though everyone enjoyed it. Rob touched on, and provided great detail into many subjects. Included topics were the status of Scaup, Cans, mallards, hunter numbers, problems such as access issues, anti's, loss of habitat, predators. Possitives on research, ALUS, battles won, battles on the fore front, a new approach to plummeting duck and duck hunter #s, future programs, and a great Q and A. Overall, the best thing I took from the night, was Delta is FOR duck hunters. They will not be persuaded in any other way. They will fight for us.
