:bigfish: I fished the Elizabeth River today with Fishy Business Charters and had the unique opportunity of a lifetime to net a 12 pound Speckled Trout for CAPT Dave Hester who hooked the Gator Speck. It was only 29 inches long but it was very fat and weighed 12lbs on our Boga grip scales. Why a Boga, because this excellent Speck hunter has a 13 lb trophy on his wall at home. So-------- Hold on to your hats, I tagged the fish and we released it. It is there for the next lucky fisherman who has the privilege to hook such a beautiful fish. The picture is not great but my battery was run down so only got one shot. Congratulations to CAPT Hester, a superb Trout Fisherman and sportsman.
