Hey all,

This weekend I "attempted" to install a Perko battery switch on my Sea Pro 21. I have it installed this way:

The two positives to 1 and 2 on ths switch
The two negatives conected
The starter wire to the common

I also have the Engine and electronics hard wired to battery 1

Heres the dilema...

When I switch the switch to Off everything stays on, so I am less then confident that the switch is working properly. Someone please fill me in where I am wrong.

Greg,

If you have done this:

"I also have the Engine and electronics hard wired to battery 1"

Then as long as Battery 1 is charged everything will work no matter what you do with the switch.

If you went from a 1 barrery system you will need to put everything that was originally on the Positive terminal on the "common" terminal of the switch. Disconnect anything wired directly to either battery, or the switch will have no effect on them.
