After getting the big skunk on Monday and Tuesday decided to get back on the water Easter Sunday. Took the neighbors son who had yet to catch a Trophy spring Rockfish. Left the West River and had the 7 rod spread in the water by 0630. All boat rods. Put the spread out just past the green 1 in 35 feet of water. Was trolling east toward Bloody Point when first rod gets hit. Neighbors son grabs the rod and lands a nice 36" on a 28 ounce tandem 40 feet back. It is now 0646 hours. In the cooler it goes, put rod back out and continue east. Hit the eastern edge of the channel and decide to circle back to where we hooked the first one. Continue west and in 55 feet another hook up on umberella rig 150 feet back no added weight. Neighbors son grabs the rod and lands another 36". Tell him to take the wheel so I can get the rods in and get hit again. This time umberella rig 90' back with 8 ounce inline sinker. Neighbors son lands a 30" this time that was released. Back to the dock, boat cleaned and fish cleaned. Home by 1100. What a day. Hope luck continues tomorrow.
