It seems that there is still a problem with this function. When you use the "Quick Reply" function, my post shows up and then shortly thereafter disappears from the board.

Dennis, on my screen you only scroll down to the bottom of the post and start typing, instead of clicking on the post reply tab and then going to another screen, it is a little quicker is the only differance i see.

I am using the quick reply function right now to write this. We have had no reported problems other then this one in regards to posting and then it disappearing. It's almost impossible for that to happen unless one of the moderators deletes the post that quick which is unlikely 1) it would happen that quick, 2) that your post would even need to be deleted. What I suspect is happening is that you post and then go back to the page and your browser is caching and going back to an old version of the page. You can do a few things to fix that, update your setting in your browser to check for new content each time you visit a page and/or reload the page to make sure you are seeing the current version of the page.

If I enter a response to a post (not a new thread) it appears readily at the time. Sometime later or the next day, however, it seems to have disappeared! This has happened several times this past week. It could be, as Brandon pointed out, that I post the response and then go back to the original page. I can see where it posted prior to returning to the original post. Oh well, live and learn, right. Just use the normal "Post Reply" and forget about the "Quick Reply". After due consideration, I cannot see the need for it either

Had the same problem and blamed Brandon for Deleteing my stuff. Fixed it by not useing Quick Reply, only the Post Reply.
