I have three young rabbit beagles for sale will jump and run theirr own rabbit,just a little over 1 year old not quite trash proof yet but getting easier to break off.I have killed rabbits in front of these dogs.600.00 for all three will not seperate 1 week trial 757 4840899 before 9 p.m.

Have yall been having problems withthe dogs being able to smell lastweek when everything was frozen my dogs didnt do that good plus they havent been out sense before the start of deerseason they ran really good this Sat when we were hunting in the pines

yeah jon we killed 2 more and threw a couple away.had some good races considering the wind and how dry it was.Shellfish yeah last week when the ground was frozen and it hovered around freezing my dogs and all my buddies that rabbit hunt said the same thing they couldnt run a rabbit in a full loop.You did right hunting in pines with a canopy the dogs can smell better because the ground is less likely to freeze up but it doesnt matter how good your beetles are its tough hunting in those conditions.I sold my dogs just because they dont quite have the nose and hunt I want but they were only a little over a year and doing really well.I hope I dont regret selling them but I am going to get into a different line of dog here soon. Yeap i know what you are saying its hard to get a pack thats all the same speed and will pack up as soon as one hits a track me and a buddy have 9 total and its taken about 8 years of working dogs out of the pack to get what we feel like are a good pack we have 2 that we dont have to put training collar on but i have two black and tans that will march a deer clean into the next county if i dont stop them but them are young this is the second year for them ......so good luck with your new line of beagles will post how we done this sat........good luck

Damn,is this tree man richard?if so i have completly forgot to call you really.sorry about that.i would say johnsons seafood in eclipse but i havent seen them oystering recently.they were tonging oysters uup burells bay but havent seen the boat leave the dock in a while.they are probably goose huntin ,anyway the farm market has them eastern shore and james river but your gonna pay for them there.that is about the only place loc ally i know of.you can try and call culpeppers in portsmouth he may have some.good luck

I want a beagle for a house dog...... I dont run dogs any more for rabbits or deer......I only hunt birds the past few years. My Rotty died (14 years old) this fall and I want a lil pal in the house....back in the day I had a dozen or more short legged beagles ......now I want a inside one.......anyone who can provide pass along my info...... jamie 685 4811

Well dogs are starting to run better we have gotten 11 between the last two Sat. but at time they still seem to not be able to smell the Rabbits some times they wont run it 50yds .....is anybody else seeing the same thing?.....thanks for any replys..........

I sold my dogs but am getting another line going soon.A friend of mine killed 22 saturday and said the dogs ran for 6.5 hours nonstop.

Man he sure had a good day do you konw what type of ground he was hunting??.......we hunt cutcover alot and some hard woods and small pines they seem to run the best there was talking to two others lastnite and they said they are having the same problems we are hunting in Va. Caroline,Hanover,King Willam Countys........

Not sure what kind of cover they hunted this past week but the week before hunted some wide open timber that a tornado went through the previous summer and tore down a lot of big trees and limbs making the cover come back thick and they killed 17 that day.My other hunting buddy killed 12 sat hunting 4 year old pine thicket.Dogs ran slow in the morning but as they day went on they ran him like they were tied to em!!

I sure miss rabbit hunting. My friends dad always had good dogs and we had a bunch of fun hunting them. Brings back a lot of memories I sure miss hearing the dogs on a hot track.

Well the Rabbitdogs are doing alot better we jumped 10 put 2- in holes and killed 8 things are looking up!!!!..........we were hunting in King Queen Co. VA.
