Well the rain went away early and the wind wasn.t bad either but we could not get the fish to hook up, saw lots of bait balls south of #8 and few really good marks, flood tide at 3pm
Heard over the radio fish being caugth and the mouth and rt3 bridge but the swells down at that area were bad all day so I stayed around #8 with no luck. lures were bucktails storms, green, white stretch 25"s and the sink and bucket, just two hits and thats it. chris

Same here. Worked channel edges and drops from #8 to #11 with no luck. Marked fish and bait but lockjaw. Tried umbrella's, Stretch's and bucktails. Warm as it could be with a good blow once and while. The warm air was mixed in with cool breezes from time to time. Water would be snotty one minute and then calm down only to get mean a little while later. Still beats working.

Yep, same thing for us today as well. We were up river as far as 12 and trolled down to between towles pt and the norris bridge, no knock downs or anything. Lots of nice looking fish marks and large bait pods around number 8. Fished the whole water column with bucktails, paracutes and umbrellas and a stretch way way back. May try again in the morning if the weather lets us.
