We were down last weekend and it makes for tough fishing when there is a trowler every half mile all the way up the beach. Where are you on the banks? We should be down again next week, going out for the tuna jigging bite.

Dennis...yeah man. That 3 1/2 hour fight was one i will never forget. Partially because i got that piggy hangin on my wall. I am cathin plenty down here and love the lifestyle. I have actually gotten eatin up with speckled trout. Never thought i would but man, i got it bad.

Jack-The trawler are killing the fishing down here this year. You got fifteen boat with nets goin out scannin the ocean...when they find em they decend like a flock of vultures. Next thing you know they are culling the small fish to get the bigger ones to meet their quoto and make more money (which i know why they do that) but the regs hurt us this year DEFINATELY. 25lb striper floating on the surface dead to make room for the 35lber that will make them more money. Chaps my A$$.

Yeah man, i am in Kill Devil Hills now. Let me know if you need another. Wouldn't mind gettin down to hatteras. I post still rarely on the north carolina site. Got one up there now...Jiggilicious is the title.

I ended up gettin a good recipe for striper cakes and am goin that route. They are made up and awaiting the oven. Thanks for the help...that recipe forum is great
