This is from 12/27/2020 but the Susquehanna River now has the Flathead record. Blues haven't been in the Susky very long so who knows, maybe it will have the record for Blues sometime in the near future? There's certainly plenty of Gizzard Shad in the Susky for everything to eat well and there are very few top predators that can eat big Gizzard Shad . Stripers & Catfish are about the only two that I can think of and Big Stripers aren't in the river long enough to eat that many. About 25 # . I don't purposely fish for Catfish either.
