Does anyone know some place or one thatcan redue some 2003 black merc motor covers? They have some deep chips and scatches. The paint isn't faded and I know someone that can do the decals, but if they could do the whole job at a descent price that would be good to. thanks

I would think that any auto body place should be able to do it.Have no idea of what they would charge .

Any auto body repair technician can re do them-but considering their hourly rate it may actually be cheaper to replace with new-
you can also purchase the supplies decals & matching paint to DIY from your local Merc dealer

A common refurbishing technique is to do the cowling a complementary color.

Instead of trying to match the Yamaha silver-blue, do the cowl a charcoal silver metalic, then apply the vinyl graphics... or have your own made up at a local sign shop.

Mercury black? Do a medium silver cowl.
You get the idea...

Get creative... it doesn't have to be "factory" to be cool.
