My wife and I left Kipto to do some light tackle eeling @ 7:30 and headed south of the High Rise. Water temp got up to 47.5. Great day on the Water. We boated 6 Stripers for 8 pulls. 5 between 40" & 44" & 1 38". All landed with no net, on purpose. 5 Released. My wife said to me on the way home she don't know which is more fun, fighting the fish or leadering it up and lipping em over the gunnel. What a Gal. Can't wait to get at again tomorrow.

If you got outside the fleet you could see all the sea ducks you wanted. lots of Loons flying around along with Surf Scoters and Oldsquaw.

I enjoy all sorts of fishing, from fly fishing for trout and panfish to tuna fishing the towers.

Sweet report! Congrats on catching a great lady... And for the fish, too. ;)

Also, kudos on releasing most of them. Hopefully, more with follow your lead and take only what they need immediately. :th

I can't say Iwas marking fish. I can say we were marking lots of bait on the bottom. I would say we were blind drifting in a specific area trying to duplicate the same drift over and over.
