I'm contemplating getting some new reels and know that Ross makes a great reel. I'm not quite ready to spend the big bucks on a Tibor, but the Momentum (or should it be the Evolution) reels might be within my price range. It looks like the #4 goes with a 8wt and a #5 goes with a 9wt? I'm leaning toward the #4 for a 8 wt rod. I also see the "worldwide" series reels which seem to be cheaper. I'm hesitating because I know my Teton (I know they went out of business) "holds" my line just fine for 99% of the fishing I do in the bay. Should I pull the trigger on the Momentum (or Evolution), maybe the new Vexis reels, maybe one of the Ross Worldwide reels or save my money and get a cheap "line holder" like a Teton? Thanks for the help. BTW, is the champaign color more silver or gold? I like silver color reels, but mostly have black ones. I'm not a big fan of the gold color reels (just my personal preference).

I am a big fan of Ross Reels and am very pleased with the Momentum.
The drag system is second to none. The reel holds up very well to salt, even when submerged. The color is more gold then silver. I have the #4 for my 8wt and 9wt
They hold plenty of line/backing.
