Well, the awesome weather report for Saturday couldn't be ignored, so we packed up and made a run to the Jack Spot yesterday. Tried towing horse 'hoo in the hopes of bluefin, but all we found there were bluefish. Here's Brian, holding up a fine specimin.

There was plenty of bait on the meter, mostly right up ontop the hill in 48' to 50', but we never did see any marks that were bona fide tuna fish. Too bad on that count, but what a great way to spend a day in December!

Met your wife the other week, she teaches both my kids, small world. We chatted a bit, turns out we have a common friend, Stan Armistead or Stan the Man as well called him. Seems his Florida lady friend has him smitten as he's been MIA for quite a while now. Tell Brian I said hello (I've fished w/him as well).
