Hi all,I'm heading down to the Rudee Inlet in August and was hoping to get some ideas of what to expect shore fishing during my stay.I am also willing to go offshore if it's a decent time of year.
This question is probably more appropriate in the “Virginia Angler” board.
I think fishing inside Rudy inlet you have a chance of about any kind of fish - puppy drum, flounder, croaker, spot, trout, sand mullet, and others. Surf fishing would probably be mostly small blues, but all the species are possible. Don’t know about offshore but I suspect dolphin would be biting well.
