Departed Rudee Inlet at 0645hrs and headed South. Stopped and trolled at
Sandbridge and False Cape, plenty of bait but no bites. The water conditions
were fair so kept going South and found some birds, boats and bait off of
Currituck light. I caught three up to 36" and kept one. It was not hot and
heavy but there was fish and plenty of boats by the time I left. I averaged
35-40 mph each way and covered 71 miles, burned 15 gallons. Back at
Owls Creek at 1200hrs and met TFer Jeff "fishphighter" who caught a nice
39" AT Cape Henry, thank you for taking my picture. Sounds like it is going
to blow the next couple of days so I probably will not fish until the Shootout.
