did anybody try heading out of salt ponds today? was it frozen? how much?

Rob, I was down about an hour ago, it's not frozen. Went out last year one day with about these temps and there was a thin layer of ice but I just plowed throw it slowly. I would expect tomorrow AM will be a thin sheet of ice but it should not stop you. But the water is off and don't expect it back on anytime soon. Good luck.

buildup at the waterline.
