Left out of Mill Creek about 0700 Sat morning perfect weather, and decided to head up river just past the bridge and immediately found birds working. Put the gear in the water picked up 21" on a green and white small buck tail umbrella rig. Stuck around that group of birds a little longer and picked up several small ones so decided to pull up and look around. Ran up River about a mile found a small group of active birds on the middlesex side and gave it a try picked up a 23", and 28" on hyper Stripers, and 4" storm in about 30ft of water. Worked that area for about a hour and bite turned off. Kept gear in water trolled towards #6 picking up some smalls along the way, turned around at 6 headed back to bridge staying in about 40-50ft water and bam rod took a hit, picked up a fat 32" on hyper Stripers umbrella rig back to Mill Creek at 1000.

Sunday was a different story, tried fishing the same area with no luck found lots of birds just above the bridge but marked little to no bait, and saw very few fish being caught. Went up River and same story trolled around for awhile with no luck. Pulled up and headed towards Windmill and found some birds working around Broad creek gave it a shot and picked up 1 18" on white storm. Called it a day around 1 with no other fish caught and nothing in the box. (It was such a nice day should of ran to the Cut heard those guys got on some)

Glad you had some luck Saturday. We fished the same area and caught one and lost 2. Should have went in then but spent the rest of the day burning fuel. Too nice of a day not to.
