started at JRB around 9:30--great conditions: clear and "incoming" current. Fished the bottoms of pilings north of the channel to the channel; a few to the south. I was staying on the bottom with a larger lure, plus a chunk on a fishfinder; partner fished towards the top. Nada.

Ammo pier off TCC--great conditions, outgoing, nada

MMBT small boat channel area--again, casting deep and surface, nada

Hoffler Creek--nice outgoing; one bump

Craney south side concrete pile. current slack

NIT for a quick drift cast

At each place I saw boats and asked, no one was catching

Saw a head boat right on the MMBT, east side, upstream, south of the island where the big signs are

We could see small lures 7' down. Maybe the water is too clear?

I think the water temp was 51-54; this warm spell won't affect the overall temperature much.

But such a pretty day for mid-December! Hope the rest of you have better luck.

I was working on my boat at Sunset all day and no stripers came in, except for 1 boat that went to Deltaville. You were not alone.
