10 mph winds from the South making 2-3 foot swells all day. Fished from 6am until 4pm from the bottom of the early low tide until nearly the next low. Water was very brown with poor visibility. Early on we tried the chimney for a few croaker (biggest of the day came from here at 14"), then tried drifting out of the channel across the ledge towards Jane's Island (from deep to shallow) had some more luck on croaker here. Tried casting towards sod bank hoping for a striper or spec but no luck.

Total for the day was 7 croaker from 11-14 inches, 1 blue at 12 inches (caught right outside Somer's Cove Marina on a bottom rig) and well over a dozen more croaker from 10 inches and down. We also caught 2 blowfish (~ 6" each), 1 flounder (8"), and what my friend identified as a Kingfish or sand mullet (8") we released all of these as they were too small.

Hope others had better luck, I'm kind of tired of croaker but I have a very limited range on my boat and just don't know where to try for rock/spec other than the sod banks around Jane's Island and south of Crisfield.

Sorry no pictures this time,

We fished down between the 10 and MR buoys close to Jane's Island and had plenty of Croaker action. My wife caught the biggest at 15". A friend of mine caught a nice flounder on Friday close to Wenona. It was around 20". We tried, but could not find any flounder.

Anyone find any flounder in Tangier Sound yet ?

Also, we ate at the Hideaway grill at Goose Creek Marina and the food was great and the beer cold. We met the owner and he and staff were extremely nice. I would recommend it to anyone down in that area.
