Left early Saturday morning from Solomons w/Wingnut and Baldzilla. Headed south to 72 after hearing great reports from the previous weekend. After a snotty ride out, we laid out 9 rods with a diverse spread. Three hours and no bites later, Wingnut had to head back in, so we dropped him off.

We then decided to LL some eels @ the HI lighthouse, but no takers. Having been bailed out by the Rt 4 bridge a few weeks ago, we headed there. Nada.

It was a tough day of fishing, but still a good time. Seeing the reports and hearing stories made me regret my call to head south, since the big fish were right @ Solomons all weekend!

I'm traveling out of the country for a week and will hit 'em hard when I get back.

Martin, it was a tough day, that weather was a killer. Thanks for having us out though, we had a blast. When you get back we'll give it a shot again. Nice to meet Wingnut...

Same thing happened to me Friday 2nd time this year. I'm sure Wingnut told ya. We did the same exact thing. that's ok cause I got the big stuff on the boat now. there will be blood on the deck this week !!!! i'm not used to all these skunks , Has me worried.
