Looking to invest in a sea anchor for a 32 Albemarle. I want to slow the driff and hope to stablize the rock and roll. Will one do both ? Any suggestions before I invest my money would be appreciated.
Thanks, Hill Billy

The sea Anchor will definetly slow your drift, but the rocking is hard to stop. Boats like to turn side to, but if you position the drift anchor right it can help.

Try going to this site and do a search. A few boats tried using an after maket rail system to cut down on the alby rock

Best sea anchor I know of is by Paratech and they base the recommended size on the weight of your boat. Second going to the website hd232 gave you. There is a thread there on how some folks got the rocking minimized on their Albemarles.

i installed smart rails on a SeaCraft - tremendous difference in lift and stability.

One problem, if u bang them with anything the seal breaks and they will come off the next time you run. Wanna guess how i found out?
