I broke two of my Shimano rods this past Fall completely my fault. I sent them to Shimano b/c they have a life time warranty and the replaced them at no charge no questions asked. There customer service is A plus in my book.

Just sent them a reel to fix and they had it back the following week at no charge. I was very impressed.

Send to Shimano directly address is on web site. I sent a reel back that locked up after 5 years of use and they replaced a $100 reel for $20.

Trolling- Shimano Tekotas are very nice.

At the prices they charge for some of their stuff they owe each of you two or three more rods and reels at no charge.

St Croix replaced two of my rods for $100.00. Together they were worth $300.00.

I sent in a rod to St Croix that I broke the tip off of and they replced for just the cost of S&H.
No questions asked. They also offered me 20% off a new rod at that time whcih I tokk advantage of. 2 Brand new rods for 80% of the cost of 1 new one.

With St. Croix it will depend on the rod model. I believe the avid's have a lifetime warranty. I snapped a premier last summer and they replaced it for $20.00 Not too sure about their "inshore rods".

Yea, I get you on this, BUT I do love my Tekota's. BUTTA SMOOTH.

No, ****mano is a crappy company that makes some decent products and stands behind them. There is a difference.
