When eeling for stripers what size eels do you prefer? I have on average about 18" eels and they do fine,but was fishing with some guys today that say they only want pencil eels.

I have been telling everyone for years " SIZE DOESNT MATTER" and also, MORE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN KILLED WITH PISTOLS THAN CANNONS ".. they all work !

I use whatever size eels i can get from the b & t shops. I have used live AND dead eels from 7 inches to 16 inches and they all work. Smaller ones probably more likely to hook a striper because less to injest but they all work.
