[Jet Ski Brian]

Seventy degree weather and a small craft advisory, I always figured it
means I am being advised to take my small craft out and see what is
bolted down and find out what needs to be. Got a late start, departed
LBR at 1400 and headed out to Cape Henry. There was plenty of birds
and bait and wind and 3-5 footers as I got about 2 miles out, it was
"sporty" , splashy and refreshing only because of the warm temps.
I managed one nice Rockfish that hit a 28oz chart. mojo. I was also
trolling a strech 30. Back at LBR 1615. Burned 1.4 gallons. I will be back
out again soon.

Good to see you yesterday when I was leaving. The bite was real good yesterday til almost noon then it slacked up. Thought it would turn back on for you late in the day. Glad you made it in and got one. Soon as the rain stops I have some fish to clean. Biggest fish yesterday for me were in the ocean about 2 miles off cape henry on stretches. Biggest looks close to 30 lbs. Fun on a stretch and small rod.:thumbup:

Thank you for the replies. I think one of the reasons I like the Jet Ski Fishing so much is that I raced dirt bikes in Mottocross
and Hare Scrambles my whole life until I got into fishing and boating more the last 15 years. I like fishing a lot and the jet
ski can give me a little adrenalin fix every now and then. I try and be courteous and responsible around other boats. But you
would not believe how tempting is to wake everybody in the back of some boats, I refrain for now.
