Hey guys. You have convinced me to go out of Point Lookout:thumbup: Now how much farther of a drive? Also need directions? Do you continue over Solomons bridge and continue south on Rte.4 ?

Also once I arrive @ the boat ramp, which way do I go. Once I'm out I can use my GPS and find my way.

Any help would be great:thumbup:

Phil; Go over the bridge about 3 mi. to 1st. light at rt. 235. Go left thru Lex. Pk. about 15 mi. dead-in to Rt. 5. Go left about 5 mi. to Ramp on rt. Go out the inlet. Pt. Lookout will be on your left. I'll be there myself about 9. Call for PARTYTIME on 68. Good luck. George

Phil, I'd say at least a half hour additional drive south from Solomons. Just cross the bridge on 4 into St. Mary's county, take a left at the first traffic light. That will put you on state route 235, follow 235 south through Lexington Park. After that signs will get you there, 235 will end and become state route 5..follow the signs to the state park and ramp.

Point Lookout State Park

Directions are given near the bottom of the page. Just off the ramp area the channel is very clearly marked. Once into the Potomac turn left and your in business.
