hEY JOHN,
I use anything I can get my hands on for wire...welding sticks, heavy tie wires, etc...
and I took and old in-line sinker mold and modified it by drill thru it....then I heat and bed the ends to accept a swivel after you pull it out of the mold..... I got them from 1\2 ounce to 8 ounces and have used them offshore and inshore with great success.....
You can even put short lenghts of leader between and stack them like one of
those long dredge rigs....tuna tear them up and white marlin and sails come right up and stick their bills up in the schools....their way lighter than the big dredges and you can put one on each rod....making your spead look like a major school......
hope it helps and good luck......

12 to 15 inch spreader bars

Try Princess Anne Distributors, 17th and Pacific, Va Beach. They have all sizes of bars and are real good at helping you out.
