I received word today that 6 each Tiagra 50s, 1 each Tiagra 70, &
2 each TLD 25s were stolen off of my good friends boat while docked behind Rockofellars at Rudee Inlet. All of the rods were custom made at Bishop's Tackle. Rods were black with green trim throughout. The 70 had a planer rod. All tackle was a year or less old. We are aware other boats have been hit at other locations this summer. Please contact us if you see these items at any pawn shops, ebay, or tackle stores, etc. Or better yet, just keep your eyes out for any suspicious behavior around Rudee.

I dearly love Virginia Beach. Grew up down there, but I've never seen a place where stealing things was so a common. I can't figure out why that is, but it is true. In Va Beach you cannot be to cautious about security. Sad but a absolute fact.

They shouldve have had made the 11th Commandment having a stating of something like "Thou shall not steal fishing supplies of any sort, and if thou does, no fish shall be deemed worthy to him.

I fish rudee quite often so ill keep an eye out on boats going in and out. I also work on the boardwalk so ill keep an ear out as well. Did he have his initials etched into the gear anywhere or any other kind of special marking.

That's terrible news ........... I think there is a consignment shop on line for gear and tackle .... may be a good place to monitor.
