Headed out for some afternoon fishing with some TF'ers (Duane & Nephew, Bill, Jason, John and John) in the mid afternoon from Lynnhaven. Put lines in at Cape Henry due finding fish and bait marks and heard the awesome bite from this morning DIED! We pulled threw bait ball after bait ball with nothing. So picked up and ran to Rudee hopeing it would turn on. Saw the bait hugging the bottom and knew we were going to have to get lucky. Well after an hour wasted there and seeing no one else catching we headed South for a look.
We get down about 7 miles past the Sandbridge pier and start seeing some small birds pecking. Lines in and HOOKED UP with 5 rods going down a couple wiht doubles. Make another pass and same thing. Catch 14 fish real quick for our limit and head for the barn because the sun was going down. Fish were 30 to 36 inches and FATTIES!
Great crew and gorgous afternoon with fellow TF'ers. Duane to post pictures.
