We left the dock at Norview a little after 7 and headed into the bay. We found lots of birds working west of the cut channel so we tried there for a while but it seemed there were just as many boats as there were birds. Started working our way east to get away from the fleet and troll the edges of the cut where we caught some nice fish on Friday. Saw some birds off in the distance and verified with the radar there were no other boats on them. Kicked the throttles up a bit and made our way to them and the screen was covered with fish arches and bait a few miles ENE of 54. First pass we got a couple on white umbrellas. Made a circle and came back into them and got 2 more on the white umbrellas. Had 10 other lines in the water but the fish would only bite the white umbrellas we had out. Built 4 more and ended up running all 6 with varying weights to cover the column. We caught about 35 fish in about 2 hours. Fished around for a few more hours looking for something to brag about but it didn't happen. Ended the day catching around 45 fish and bringing home our 6 man limit up to 28".

Good report, was going to go there yesterday but, hit a swarm of birds between bridge and Broad Creek on Middlesex side. Had a ball and saved the gas. From what I have gathered, fish were caught just about everywhere in the river from bank to bank and 12 to mouth.

Good luck!

Wish I would have seen something happening in the river. Always nice to save a little fuel money
