Crystal Ball was right... almost. The seas were nice and smooth from the offshore winds, the birds were going nuts, but the bite was a little slow. Got out around 8 and starting trolling into the birds right outside of Rudee, nothing. Saw the fleet out along the channel and headed that way, caught a nice fat 41" around 830. Then all the charter and big boats headed towards Sandbridge so we picked it up and followed the crowd. Caught a few more nice fish right off the Golf Ball with birds working hard and then decided to head in around 11. Got right off Rudee and the birds were going off.... So the lines went back in and caught a few more right off the sea buoy there and then HE hit. I fought him for about 12 minutes (light tackle) before HE came into sight, a beast. Just guessing high 40's on length and weight, got him right next to the boat, handed my rod to my buddy so I could grab him (forgot the net) and poof he was gone. SHIIIIIT....
