I would like to thank the fisherman that reported a good bite near Cape Henry Light early this morning. We were headed out of Rudee and had planned to run to False Cape after reading reports of good catches on Sat. but headed north instead. We found a slow bite at first with a fat 32" in the box and a huge flounder (28"-30") that pulled off at the net. About 9:00 the bite really turned on just north of the Green Can. We had two triple knock downs and managed to boat 4 of the 6 fish. The bite died off about 10:30 and we did not catch another fish before leaving at noon. Ended up with a 32", 36",38" and three fish over 39 inches. A great day fishing with a friend and his son. All fish were caught on chartruese mojo"s and umbrella rigs .

Nice work Doug. Glad to hear you got on them but what's with the flounder? You have better luck catching them when you're striper fishing than I do when I'm flounder fishing!
